Brutal 20 miler today, #running the locally notorious perfect #marathontraining @SpenboroughAC run, the #Spen20
Mentally I broke the race down into four 5 mile chunks, tough last 5 but kept going at almost even pace. Finished 2 mins inside target time

21:54 @Huddsparkrun #parkrun yesterday, followed by 16 miles with BIG climbs this morning.

Named after the late Rob Burrow CBE, the centre is the first purpose-built facility dedicated entirely to MND care, research, education and holistic support in the UK, and stands as a trailblazer for others around the country. It was a pleasure to meet professionals as well as Rob's family, highlighting the incredible dedication and generosity that brought this vision to life.

My old mate from my @MyWakefield days ran his 500th #parkrun today - he's a fantastic ambassador for @parkrun and sports participation more generally, and I couldn't be more pleased for him.

After volunteering at the #BD25 #Bradford2025 #TurnerPrize exhibition on Thursday I was back in #Listerpark #running @Listerparkrun this morning, after a 6 mile warm up. First proper run since #Lidingöloppet, good to see the legs still work!

The #Lidingöloppet did not disappoint, a brutal 30km cross-country run in #Sweden.
I completed it in a little over 3 hours, got to be happy with that at my age, I spent the entire race #running with people mostly half my age!
