He will be remembered not only for his achievements but for his gentle spirit, his compassion, and the genuine care he showed to everyone he encountered. 🇬🇭JUST IN : The Cyber Vetting and Enforcement Team has arrested 20-year-old Promise Yayra Asamani for posting false news on Snapchat about Uber driver Selasie Kwaku Anthonio, falsely labeling him a murderer and thief. The post was based on her sister Stephanie’s account of a dispute during a ride. Promise failed to respond to a police invitation and was arrested on 14th March 2026 but has since been granted police enquiry bail as investigations continue.

I find money conversations on this app very strange. There’s no universality in the function of money to people. It is all shaped by our individual circumstances. What’s nothing to you is another person’s dream. That’s how I’ve come to see it. I’ve seen people do more with less and others do little with more. 10k is everything to someone and nothing to another. No averages here. Everyone just has different levels to the same needs. We may all have rent problems, but the kind of accommodation you’re looking for differs from another person’s. Same applies to a car, a house, the school you want to send your children to or the hospital you want to attend. The kind of vacation you dream for your family isn’t the same as another person’s. You want to go to Greece, another simply wants to go to Labadi beach for a chill Sunday. Both are valid forms of fulfillment. Economists and sociologists have discussed this topic extensively; money’s utility is purely subjective. So it’s quite tiring to always have to see the way people view money as an objective measure of comfort. Our comfort levels are dictated by the taste of our needs. Somebody once came on this platform and said if you’re 30 and you don’t have GHS100k saved in your bank account, you’ve failed in life. That just completely ignores the fact that the greatest minds of money don’t even encourage saving; they encourage investment. And investment isn’t just about buying stocks and T-bills, it could be an investment in your education, your children’s education, your health, your house etc. Don’t let anyone pressure or gaslight you into thinking you’re completely worthless because you don’t earn in a certain bracket. By all means aspire to earn more money, but you don’t need to earn in the bracket of what another person has determined to be sufficient before you can do great little things in your life.
