@STaranto92 Squirrels, comments on “I don’t see why you wouldn’t be approved” are pretty wild. Love Cletus, but he lost control of his car five times in one race. 🤷🏼‍♂️

Sounds like a NASCAR decision on whether or not Cleetus McFarland is approved to run the O'Reilly Series race at Talladega will come tomorrow, based on the new episode of Bald Eagles uploaded today. "(RCR) just said 'it's up to NASCAR.' And whatever they come back with, it is what it is. ... I did not come into this opportunity saying 'NASCAR needs to approve me!' I never, in any instance, thought they should approve me. I just got this opportunity and said, 'great, what can we do?' "And if they approve me to run 'Dega, I'm running it."

@chris8video @CBird73936300 My issue is that he lost control of his car 5 times during the race. He got super nervous and spun himself out when the leaders were trying to get around him. I watched his onboard camera and listened to his audio the whole race and he just looked very uncomfortable.

@CBird73936300 “None competitive laps” when his best lap of the day was faster than 15 other drivers in this race.

People saying Clettus ran "all the laps" That would lead us to believe he finished on the lead lap. When in fact he was 6 laps down. Mostly do to a lack of talent. In correction he ran 254 none competitive laps and shouldn't be allowed anywhere near Talladega in a O'Reilly car.

@andyhanson887 @TeamKFBfan8 @joe_srigley @jose_pedro_48 He is doing everything you haters want him to do. This is more seat time and experience. He was as high as 26 and finished 32nd. Yet you aren’t on here bitching that the other drivers in cars 26-38 shouldn’t be in the race.

In a vacuum, Cleetus McFarland did exactly what he needed to do by finishing all of the laps without destroying his race car. HOWEVER, his performance today shows that he needs to run some more in ARCA and Trucks before continuing in the O’Reilly Auto Parts Series… especially at Talladega. He’s great for the sport and brings new eyes to the sport, but they should be watching as Cleetus makes a legitimate climb through the ranks — not a rushed jump up that is going to continue to provide poor results.

It was an afternoon filled with highlights for Cleetus McFarland -- making his #NASCAR O'Reilly Auto Parts Series debut in the No. 33 for @RCRRacing -- with a full spin, four half spins, and a really, really close call. McFarland finished P32, six laps down, after all this⬇️

I really like Cletus. I probably spent several hours watching his videos a few days ago. NASCAR needs a personality like! But goodness that was pretty ugly today. One of his spins was right in front of the leader, when he was just trying to get out of the way. You can legit say he lost control of his car 5 times today. I would spend a solid year in ARCA making mistakes before going up to the top 3 series.

I genuinely don’t understand how someone could dislike Cleetus. If a golden retriever could become a human, it’d be Cleetus.

@CattinAmeowica @DirtyMoMedia Simply because they have the preparation and the experience before they get to that point, he does not. He’s a wheel man and an awesome person, but just not ready for this series, or the next.

P32. A handful of spins. BUT, he kept the ol’ Chevy clean 👌🏻 How would y’all assess Cleetus’ NOAPS debut? Reply OR drop us a line for Reaction Theatre. ☎️(704) 802-9572

@andyhanson887 @toddingersoll7 @CleetusNASCAR @DirtyMoMedia This might come as a shock to you but your opinion really doesn't matter. The beauty of the Cleetus haters is if wrecks, I told you so. If he does well, it's because he's in top level RCR equipment. The gatekeepers are losing control, that's the real issue.

@LCSpells73 @DirtyMoMedia Yes I did. What are you questioning? He was six laps down and had about five on track issues which he even acknowledged in his post race…

🤦 See my tweet from 18 minutes ago… he did good in the ARCA race today… in a car with five times the downforce of an Xfinity car, half the horsepower and substantially less speed. there’s a reason half the field is 18 years old. We’re all glad he did great in a series where eight cars can finish on the lead lap. Solid P4

Would you want to see Cleetus in another downforce track outside of a plate race next week?! 😳 I don’t think even he would. let’s listen to what he says in the next week… he will confirm everything that I am saying about the embarrassment. Let him speak for himself, not my words.

@andyhanson887 @CleetusNASCAR @DirtyMoMedia @NASCAR So you're saying in a racecar that he has gotten to drive a couple races for and gotten used to the cars he CAN drive and should be out there? Funny how that works you give him 3-4 races then let's see what happens in O'Reilly's worked in ARCA
