Andrea Hegarty

I’m beyond excited to announce that I’ll be continuing my athletic and academic career playing Division 1 softball at Lafayette College! It’s been a journey and I wouldn’t be here without my family. Since I was 5, my parents have poured their time, energy, and resources into this dream, and I’m forever grateful. Dad, thank you for being the best bucket catcher out there! Mom, thank you for being my biggest supporter and always being the person I can turn to for guidance. Thank you to my sister, Emmy, for supporting me through every long tournament and cheering me on, and for letting me steal mom for all the travel weekends away! Thank you Powerhouse Mechanics for shaping my pitching game through the years. Thank you to all my CA coaches for guiding me through recruiting and helping me jump back in to the game I love this past year. Thank you to all my past Cali coaches for leaving a lasting impact as a player and athlete. Thank you WittFit training for pushing me the last 9 months to get 1% better every day.
