Can you relate to this awkward tension I feel of being endlessly excited by what AI now unlocks (you can build anything you want), but with this constant underscore of depression that I can't explain?

Laravel was so far ahead of the game with Laravel Boost tbh. Like almost a year ahead. Still so much work to do. The definition of who can be a Laravel developer is about to get very broad.

@taylorotwell casually shipping a broken app online. The app triggers an alert, which triggers opencode which writes a fix, pushes a PR, then OpenClaw calls Taylor BY PHONE on stage, who responds « merge it », and the fix is merged and deployed. All in 2 minutes, live on stage 😂

@jeffrey_way I’m often at 3 concurrent tasks and each have 1-4 agents depending on complexity, I probably peak at a dozen for 10 minutes per week.

I'm pretty convinced that very very few developers are actually doing these super-sophisticated workflows that involve a dozen agents working concurrently in their own respective worktrees. Twitter/X would have us believe the opposite is true, weirdly.

Example of opportunities out there if you get off Twitter for 5 minutes. The barn where my kid rides horses runs their entire many million dollar operation with no software. Nothing for shows. No payment platform. Just text messages on a 6yr old iphone.
