@NewcastleFansTV Only been twice: First in 1975, 1-1 Ipswich, as a 7 year old sat in East Stand, cheering Town taking the lead & all the toon fans laughing….and ofc 2025: An incredible occasion despite relegation, you Geordies were/are absolute class 👏 Both games unforgettable to me #NEWIPS🤝

@patmurphybbc In my formative years in the 70s, my Saturday afternoons would always be spent listening to Sport on 2, and always hoping that Butler/Jones or Parry/Jones would be providing 2nd half commentary on #itfc. Cherished memories. You most certainly did Peter justice, Pat. All the best.

Regardless of your allegiances, if you’re a fan of modern football history, you could do much worse than invest a few quid into @JasonHolyhead & his @AintBarrel books. I’m not a #sufc fan, but their turbulent recent history is fascinating. Looking forward to reading this sequel.
