My visit to Ghana has been postponed, so instead I went to the exotic land that is England to meet with the Chancellor of our sister school, ACTS Ghana. And he had a very exciting gift for me—a Ghanaian Apostolic systematic theology! (They even push back on some of my arguments!)

It’s time for cool heads and to remember that the US and Ukraine are on the same side. Volodymyr Zelenskyy has led his people heroically for three years against completely unprovoked aggression from Russia. The bravery of the Ukrainians has been amazing. Their suffering has been appalling. It is they who deserve our support and they who frankly deserve our respect. The best way forward now is for the minerals deal to be signed as soon as possible. There is still a path to peace. Slava Ukraini! 🇺🇦

@AJWTheology It's just a classic example of reading huge amounts into a brief reference to Phoebe. It really is a stretch, imho

I just read a respected author saying that “Phoebe led the Roman church.” Has anyone come across this before and/or know what the evidence for it is? (Unfortunately it’s not footnoted.)

@thinktheology Totally agree, we insist on it. A few comments Andrew: 1. On the website it looks like you are the author, not Alistair? 2. There is a block of repeated text 2/3rds into the article 3. Love the reminders of OT imagery 4. Smacks of memorialism?
