@slow_is_better It does. I love visiting a new city and simply wandering around and seeing what I stumble across
English

@andymcaleese So true, I really enjoy just walking for the sake of it, instead of walking to get from point A to B. It really makes you be more mindful about how great the environment is.
English

I’ve commuted to London for over 20 years and for most of this was in that head down, autopilot rush to and from the office.
I now realise there is so much benefit from slowing down and
• walking more
• paying attention to my surroundings
• noticing my breathing
I arrive at work or home feeling much calmer, which is great for my well-being.

English

@sabrinacoaching Absolutely. There’s so much to see if you stop and look and so much history contrasting with the modern
English

@andymcaleese You notice so much in London if you just look up
English

@davebedford_ Loving these videos Dave, your growing confidence in front of the camera and the authenticity and power of your story.
Brilliant stuff!
English

@davebedford_ Thanks Dave. I'm hoping to get back to doing a few more videos and appreciate the feedback
English

@andymcaleese Can't believe I missed this, Andy. Great video and strong message. Thanks for sharing your experience mate 🙏
English

@davebedford_ I can imagine, and the more impressive for pushing through and posting. Looking forward to the next videos
English

@andymcaleese Thanks, Andy. Ticking that first one off was not easy 😬
Appreciate your support mate.
English

@KhurramKhanMSc Thanks for sharing Khurram. I also use an iPad for ease and the ability to lock notes as, otherwise I would self-censor rather than be truly open.
English

@andymcaleese Journaling has proved a fantastic tool for me - yet I haven’t done it for a while now. Thanks for the reminder Andy. I like to use iPad / ipencil for both ease of accessibility / record keeping and to avoid the fear (anxiety?) of losing any physical journal 📓!
English

@supermanuelsaez Thanks @supermanuelsaez and it helps when you find common experiences with others
English

@andymcaleese Andy, I identify with how you feel and have been doing similar things to overcome my anxiety. Thanks for sharing 💪
English

@MartineGuernsey These are 3 of my go-to activities to help me with stress
1. Walking
2. Journaling
3. Talking
English

@TheBodySmithUK There is so much to see and so much contrast between old and new. Next time going to look at what can be seen above eye level as there are lots of hidden details
English

@andymcaleese There’s a lot to be said for mindful walking Andy.
Especially in a city like London with so much incredible historical and modern architecture.
It inspires me daily!
English

@mike_hdn I agree and I’ve used a lot of habit-forming information to help to become more consistent
English

@andymcaleese Great advice Andy - I find starting small is really important for building sustainable habits
English

@DmytroLutsik It’s great isn’t it as well as easy, not needing any special equipment.
Do you find any challenges?
English

@andymcaleese I can relate. Walking is essential for my mental well-being.
It's the perfect way to transition from the workday to a personal evening mindset. Strolling through the park helps calm my mind, allowing me to focus on hobbies or engage in meaningful conversations.
English

@davebedford_ Currently it’s exploring Panshanger Park, which is lovely
English

@andymcaleese Such a great habit to build. Where's your favourite place to walk, Andy?
English

@andymcaleese There is a really nice Bollywood movie, called Dear Zindagi (aka Dear Life). Trailer here: youtube.com/watch?v=VBM6Tx…
