@JacksSwansea What none of this factors in is how little away fans most clubs bring to Swansea. Many of the clubs ahead of us benefit from 2/3k away fans multiple times a season. Only the very big clubs bring that to Swansea. We’re lucky if clubs bring 1200 to us.

I can’t quite believe we’re already over a month into the domestic cricket season. A month in and already 6 rounds of Championship fixtures ticked off. The next County Championship fixture at the Oval starts on 7 June. After that, there isn’t a domestic red ball game until 20 August. Maybe I’m getting old and grumpy, but that feels like a massive wasted opportunity.

@andypryor68 @MichelleDewbs Don’t disagree, but the point I was trying to make was second best isn’t success. I want him to strive to be the best person he can be.

My 5 year old boy does football training. At the end of the session they do a ‘man of the match’ type thing. My boy is always desperate to win it. He often doesn’t. I explained to him the other day that he didn’t win simply because he wasn’t good enough. That he deffo could win, but he just needs to be better, try harder, be more focused etc. One of the other mums heard me & was aghast at what I said. She told me she is going to get ‘runner-up stickers’ for all the kids who don’t make it. I said no thanks, not for my son. Kids need to learn that they can be the best, but they must apply themselves & dust themselves off when it doesn’t go their way. No consolation prizes, no ‘everyone’s a winner’ etc. There are winners & losers. Wanna win - do your best. Can’t make it? Don’t worry, go & smash something else. Play to your strengths & never, ever play the victim. @smartinaus1975 @MichelleDewbs Just encouraging him to be greedy. Perhaps I still that making an assist, winning a tackle or clearing off the line are equally as important as scoring a goal yourself.

@MichelleDewbs 100%. My 7 year old plays and I say if he scores 3 goals he gets £10. He has scored 3 twice. He wants to score 3 every week but doesn’t although he tries his hardest He is motivated to work harder. I don’t give him a/t if he scores less than 3! He needs to learn to be a winner!

@BBCMOTD The influx of officials going into the media hasn’t helped them. The flawed decision making in their minds has been exposed for what it is. And then you have this. Nobody allowed in the six yard box at a corner. 🤷
