You do realise that Swansea were bought by Americans way before Disney went to Wrexham? Landon Donovan, Mindy Kaling bought shares and at one point even Oprah was being linked (this was nearly a decade ago). Granted Wrexhams model has been a real trailblazer and FairPlay to you guys but that statement about us trying to imitate your club just isn’t true. Sadly, for us, our American owners marked the start of our downfall. Having said that the ship seems to have been steadied more recently.

@NJCCFC27 Swansea should be the last club complaining about this. They’ve received investment from the likes of Snoop Dogg and Modric trying to imitate what Wrexham have done and they will definitely jump at the chance to do something similar in the future to get more exposure.
