I feel like replay has gotten better and they’ve been more aggressive in overturning calls, which makes that non-overturned call on Acuña HBP even more perplexing.

@CSOonX You really think the fans have that much influence? Barnhart hates Cal and was happy to see him go. People blames the UK fans for everything, but we just gripe like every other fan bases. We just get more blame. Check other fan bases after a bad loss.

@KySportsRadio Those people look at the fans like we’re the peasants and they’re the royalty. They are doing us a favor but allowing us to be a small part of their greatness. They forget or just don’t care that we are the consumers.

The lesson of the end of Calipari and Barnhart is oddly the same (even though they weren’t friendly). When you start to be dismissive of, or ignore the fans and their concerns, it usually is the beginning of the end

Here's the irony in how the Barnhart deal played out. Had he not been so stubborn in resisting the impulses of the fan base ('microwave culture' etc), he might have had the clout to ride off with that deal escaping the scrutiny it got.

@LegacyBlue_UK I respect that take, but I would argue that he performed adequately the first year and terribly the second year, and with the current recruiting situation, I can’t see how it’s going to be better next season. If it’s the same or worse than last year, he’s gotta go.

@andyrich29 I think we have to wait and see what the year plays out. I think it's unfair to be calling for it now especially since he overperformed his first year.

It's really simple. If you don't like Pope. Root for someone else.
