Ouch. Inflation is far too important a problem for the White House to keep making statements like this. It’s either straight ahead misdirection or a deep misunderstanding of basic market dynamics.

You are referencing “more” unpaid work. Can you help me understand what you are referencing?

@andyseavers @TalentBrandMgr @lindie8487 how is a portfolio not enough? asking us to do extensive work unpaid, then ghosting us, is extremely unprofessional when they had no intention of hiring us anyways. it’s just a way for corporations to get even more unpaid labor from us.

@lindie8487 @TalentBrandMgr One potential employees hours of strategic work hardly pays for the cost of doing business. So to answer your question, definitely not.

But you don’t want to work at a place that doesn’t respect you enough to actually use your strategic work to evaluate if you are a good fit. Most companies want to know you can think strategically and this is how many evaluate.
