First time in the history of Scottish football that a game has been concluded early at Celtic Park. We’ve gone from “injury time until Celtic score” to “injury time until Celtic invade the pitch”. SPFL playing a blinder again. 😂

Bradford matters. Demographically, it is the youngest city in Europe. The scene of the worst sectarian riots in Britain this century. Under Labour, it became a test-bed for a policy of multiculturalism which insisted all cultures and languages were of equal value. That policy has been a disaster for a city which, 150 years ago, was one of England's most prosperous. More than anywhere else in Britain, Bradford exemplifies the incompatibility of 'Baradari' kinship networks with Western freedoms. It is why the city has the highest incidence of first-cousin marriage in the UK, with the worst rates of birth abnormalities, as a result. It was where, in 1989, a novel written by Salman Rushdie - and deemed 'blasphemous' by Iran - was publicly burned by a mob outside the city hall. It was a seminal moment: when the British State chose not to stand up for the right to offend. Bradford is a city where the white working class has been routinely ignored, caricatured as racist and pushed into ever-shrinking ethnic enclaves. Labour deserved to lose power in Bradford. The pity is that they didn't lose it decades ago. bbc.co.uk/news/articles/…

Whatever happens tommorow, it's been one hell of a season. Cardiff away, Cooky signing off with a goal at St James, beating town with Bobby at the double & the scenes on north parade at the final home game. There's a real sense of pride about following Bradford city again. #bcafc

Disgraceful. Free local transport in Qatar and Russia World Cups. In the Euros in Germany you could travel the length of the country for €29. $150 for a 30 min each way journey in the states though. The American Dream. Greedy bastards.
BBC Sport@BBCSport

The special event fare has been confirmed for a journey that usually costs $12.90 (£9.50) for a return ticket. That price will be $150 (£110.75) during the tournament. The stadium will host eight matches, including an England group game, and the final on 19 July.

You know what I think is broken That children of working parents have to pay for holiday club, breakfast club and after school club, in order to be able to keep working when children are off school etc But the children of parents who don’t work, get those things for free even though they don’t need them because they’re home and can look after their children These ‘benefits’ should be for those who work full time. Not the other way round
