It was the Wyedean rally today. Kept a bit hush hush in recent years due to the volume of cheesecakes putting the event at risk. I wasn’t there today but this footage always takes me back. It was from 2016 when I first officially drone filmed the rally. @harrismonkey

@EnvAgency This causes stress not reduces it. Thanks to the EA the Wye is ruined by mass canoeing and paddle boarding. Not a penny going back in. The environment they preach of, they are destroying.

@EnvAgency You are spot on, its very good for your mental health....until you breathe and inhale the stench of sewage, then look into the lifeless water and see no weed, sewage algae covering every pebble, dead bullheads & crayfish in the margins and used tampons & pads floating downstream.

Not on the Wye in summer it doesn’t! Due to the EA’s total lack of accountability with the mass, free-for-all navigation, most anglers experience a negative impact on their mental health #mentalhealth
