Good morning from The Hague! 🇳🇱 When I woke up this morning, two stories from women in Ukraine appeared in my feed within minutes, and they truly moved me. The first was about 95-year-old Sofiia who knits socks for the army. At 95 years old, she has made 270 pairs of warm socks over the past three years—even in the dark, because she can't sleep at night. What a beautiful soul. 🥹 The second story is about Ruslana, who was severely injured in 2022 and lost her leg. She once wanted to give up on life, but now she has won the special charity edition of the “Dancing with the Stars” show in Ukraine. It's incredibly admirable—such strength and perseverance.
