@BrokenXBoxes @PeelerzGummy @bluzueur @GalaxySoldier As I already brought up, the aura was already drawn on panels before King Kai said that. I said in another reply that they would've had to tamper with Toriyama's art and get rid of the aura prior to King Kai's comments. I believe those panels should've been after Kai's words.

昔から雷エフェクトを描く時は二色で描いてるんすけど(このカットは撮影で二色の境界がかなりボカされていますが他の仕事もほとんどそうなっているはず、、)、たぶんこれは金色のガッシュ！！(原作)の影響が強い。
小学生の頃ずっとガッシュの絵描いてたからなぁ、、染み付いてしまってる。

Characters need beefs and opps. It elevates who they are when they have this one guy they legit can't stand.
