@langchain made it radically easier and more reliable to build multi-step, stateful agents. After training 800+ devs through our @BeyondPrompts workshops, one thing stood out: Checkpointers unlock everything from managing multiple threads with users, to debugging, to personalization with long-term memory. So we shipped Convo, a drop-in checkpointer that works out of the box with zero config. It runs LangGraph’s powerful state persistence behind the scenes, almost like magic. The response has been energizing: - Featured in @ProductHunt’s newsletter → producthunt.com/products/convo… - 260+ devs signed up for our deep dive on checkpointers → lu.ma/fl29ul0l The more we build with agents, the more it’s clear: Memory isn’t optional. It’s foundational. LangGraph makes it easy to build around it. @hwchase17

@chamath I think a key part of the solution is training a model to accurately recognise the intent behind these kinds of questions—and then selecting the right reasoning path (e.g. data slicing, simulation, factor attribution) based on that. Working on it. DMs open for early beta testers.

Financial Model Challenge Can someone please build a portfolio simulation model. Where a person can interrogate a good fine tuned model with structured questions about portfolio construction and risk simulation. Here are a few questions from myself and folks in my “Learn With Me” group chat: 1. What would adding Mag7 for an additional 10% on top of the S&P index add wrt alpha and beta? 2. How many stocks in the S&P500 less the Mag7 have seen material stock appreciation since 10y UST exceeded 3.5%? Segregate these stocks into sector and rank by ROIC. 3. Do a random walk and determine the optimal mix between large cap and small cap indices that would have maximized risk adjusted returns since rates started rising in early 2022. What about if volatility can be unbounded? These questions aren’t meant to be definitive but illustrate questions that are still difficult to ask a general purpose LLM today but would have a lot of value. The robo-advisors would do well to integrate such a model to help inform portfolio construction for investors. I would allocate a good portion of my capital to strategies informed by such a model if I could validate it was reliable. If you build it, lmk and I can direct you to our group chat (the LWM community) who may want to try it.

@rikschennink Very curious. How come you're not using Stripe. I would assume they're the default option because of their brand image, ease of use, and customer support. Especially since this is a very commoditized product space.

Paddle charges 5% transaction fee. LemonSqueezy 5% + 0.5% for subs + 1.5% for transactions outside of US (which is about 50% of my customers). But that will include affiliate support when it's ready. Still quite a bit below Gumroad at 12.9%. Gonna experiment with both.

Just completed the Paddle integration, support was fast, but I'm still waiting for account verification. Sooo back to adding LemonSqueezy. It still has some quirks, but they're scaling up support and the admin UI looks great, also they're adding affiliate support.

@b_srinivasb04 @ReviseNFT @OpenZeppelin It's the unique identifier for the NFT (as created within revise). When you add an NFT using the SDK, it'll return the NFT ID. This ID can then be used to update the NFT or set up automation for the NFT (e.g. update based on weather, etc.)

Just wrote a small guide on how to build your first NFT using #javascript and @OpenZeppelin . There are two parts to this exercise. 1st we’ll build a quick NFT smart contract to run on the blockchain. 2nd we’ll build a backend for the NFT to help make it dynamic using javascript.
