Some of the important questions that we’ll discuss include: In an era increasingly shaped by platform dominance, how do startups and established megafirms co-create, compete, and co-evolve in strategic ecosystems? How do they manage co-opetition and power asymmetries?

I look forward to moderating a very interesting panel on “Strategy Making in an Ecosystem of Mega Firms and Startups” at the Strategic Management Society’s #SMS2025 annual conference on October 12, 2025 at 11:00-12:15 in San Francisco.

@paulg @paulg, isn’t pettiness a human feature not confined to just some professors? How about some petty investors, VCs, entrepreneurs, and other professionals in general?

One of the most surprising things I've learned from Twitter is how petty and dishonest many professors are. When I was in college they seemed like gods. But I suspect pettiness and dishonesty were as prevalent then. They just didn't show like they do now.

@dhume @harshmadhusudan A country’s power on the global stage is often viewed as a combination of four factors: ECONOMIC power, TECHNOLOGICAL power, MILITARY power, and SOFT power. Taken together, India has a long way to be viewed as a “global” great power.

I’m curious to know if people agree or disagree with this particular definition of what makes a country a “great power.” All views welcome. Thanks. v @harshmadhusudan
