Shifting my focus from newsletter to freelancing for now. A change of plans, after a family situation happened. I'm now back to offering my writing services for Youtube Educators and help them turn their views into leads.

1. Review emails that gained attention of prospects, esp those that got replies 2. Use email tracking tools to see if emails got viewed 3. See what elements of email got attention (subject lines, email structure, free resources, samples, portfolio) 4. Double down on winners

I noticed 2 ways how youtube creators use a script: • as a guide • as a book (reading everything in it) In anyway, having a good & goal-oriented script is an upgrade to the video's overall value.

Netflix-style documentaries on YouTube are getting sharper! I just studied a channel taht adapts a storytelling pattern like this: Childhood > early career > big break > conflict > legacy Just like how top netflix docu does it.

Found this documentary style youtube video/channel with the same quality as Netflix's. The youtube documentary niche competition is getting higher and higher.

After 1 unsubscribe, finally got new subscribers yesterday. The past few weeks had been tough: ✳️ a lot of self-doubt creeps in ✳️ experiencing slow growth on subscriber count ✳️ got 1 unsubscribe But not giving up.

@SahilBloom Great reminder from your recent newsletter issue: "If you can seek out constructive feedback and embrace it, you will always outmatch the person who runs from it." I still feel off sometimes about feedbacks but I know how important it is for growth.

@dickiebush Systems can help keep life running smoothly. The problem is when we add too many, they can get in the way of enjoying life. There's a sweet spot.

I see a lot of people saying you shouldn't need "systems" for all parts of life and should instead "be a normal person." Always struggled with that commentary. Why is having a system for improving relationships different than the "system" you use to keep your teeth clean? You do it at the same time, in the same way, every day. And it leads to a predictable healthy result. Why not do that for every area of your life?

@STORUP1 Same situation with you now. I'm working part time from our family business but still lack on funds but I'm working on my newsletter with 139 subs but I'm planning to do freelancing too. Curious how you'd go about the freelance services?

But I've got very low living costs + decent savings — maybe I'll need to bridge with some freelancing; but I'm quite sure there's breakeven-money in sight (either from public funding in my country or sponsorships). I just couldn't take the next step while doing my job.
