Things are not looking good for @ cascade_xyz There’s a high probability that the founder behind @perenniallabs and Cascade is the same person he is likely hiding his identity so that FOMO around Cascade doesn’t die after the reveal Here’s why things look scary for Cascade: On Dec 7, 2022, Perennial raised $12M in a seed round from investors like Polychain, Variant, and Archetype to build a decentralized perpetuals trading protocol on a rollup The founders were revealed as Arjun Rao and 𝗞𝗲𝘃𝗶𝗻 𝗕𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘇 They introduced their Petals points program on Dec 3, 2024 and ran it for around 8 months after that, they made announcement that they would no longer continue with Perennial and will launch a new project saying that users’ earned points would be transferred to the new project that was a total slap for users who had been using their platform after the points program went live in the hope of an airdrop but in the end the project itself was shut down Now back to Cascade On Dec 9, 2025, they raised $15M in a seed round from investors like Polychain, Coinbase Ventures, Variant, and Archetype to build a perpetual market for crypto, US stocks, and private assets Founder name revealed as 𝗞𝗲𝘃𝗶𝗻 But the last name was missing, the CoinDesk article says the cofounder declined to give his last name and this is where they got caught launching a project with $15M funding but the founder is not comfortable revealing his last name or family name that never makes any sense And when you go through the account of the cofounder of Perennial @kbrizzle_ (Kevin Britz) You will find his last tweet was on July 24, 2025 After that he never tweeted again But when you go through his following list, you will see he is following @cascade_xyz and the growth manager of Cascade @ ben_casde Where the Cascade account was already live in the month of July itself and Ben’s account was created in the month of September So you can see the complete connection between Cascade and Kevin and it’s 100% confirmed that @ kbrizzle_ is the same founder of Cascade who is being hidden by the team not only this, if you go through frontend API data You will find Cascade is running under Perennial’s infrastructure and the debate ends here Cascade was the only project the Perennial team mentioned back in July 2025 and @ kbrizzle_ is the account of Kevin who was mentioned by CoinDesk as the founder of Cascade So what to do now? Cascade is going to open vault of $1.5M on the 6th before that, the team should come forward and answer all the questions that have been floating around CT, with a proper founder reveal What am I gonna do? Previously, I was bullish on them after seeing good investors and @ben_cascade support for early users, he gave many codes to early users, including me but after seeing the history, I’m no longer as bullish as before Also, it’s scary, team is going to open a $1.5M vault in the next 3 days, but they’re not comfortable revealing the CEO and not made any tweet yet, even after so much FUD on CT and it’s still not confirmed whether the funds raised from VCs are of Cascade or they’re Perennial funds that they raised before Too many shaky things going around, and that’s never a good sign for a project I’ll just suggest or I go with: if you’re aping into their upcoming vault, don’t go in with blind money out of FOMO Use only the amount you can afford to lose and that won’t affect your personal life Else, DYOR Stay safe!!
