Goodbye - Today a chapter ends. It is with immense gratitude that I share my time at The Residency has come to an end.
One year ago I believed the journey was more important than the destination. The Residency taught me it is neither. It is the people who accompany you along the way.
Before the residency I was lone madman. After finding a roof under the residency I was still a mad, however I was no longer alone. Better, I was home.
Living with roommates building the future space, health, robotics and AI gave me back what 4 years of startup failure had taken away:
- A hunger to dream bigger
- A relentless work ethic
- An unbreakable will
- A family
With this new found resolve, I again set sail into the unknown. New startup reveal soon 🤫

sometimes you aim for the stars and miss…
but this isn’t one of those times
last friday we hosted the biggest and best demo day the residency has ever had ⚜️
and the night that went off without a hitch
40 demos, 250 investors, and a live chicken??
this isn’t just about residents receiving investments on the spot, it’s about proving that our mission is working
everything we do, we do to enable purpose driven founders
momentum compounds, and this demo day was a big acceleration forward in achieving the mission we set out for ourselves
but we all know there’s no rest in sf,
our next stop is the sf sprint & chapter 8
to the upcoming cohort, we’ll be ready for ya
