I want Punjab Kings to score at least 210+ today so that Rohit can show these clowns how to chase a big target with explosive batting, not by playing a tuktuk 58-ball century.

Yesterday was a long day. I was called for questioning in connection with a case that I believed had no merit, and I attended the questioning to present my version. However, the police arrested me at 5.30 PM. I was granted bail at 10 PM, and the Hon’ble Duty Judge clearly stated that he saw no offence in the case. He also said that he saw no mens rea and failed to understand why I had even been arrested. Grateful to @RaviSharmaTalks and @sidcool2302, the wonderful lawyers who helped me through this. Thankful to the many people, both online and offline, who supported me. I’m truly grateful. Of course, there are many who dislike you and use such opportunities to strike harder when you are down, but that’s fair game. It was your day, and you took it. I can take those blows and come back. At times like these, one realises the importance of ideological support. The people who stood by me at the most crucial juncture were neither close friends nor relatives, but those with whom I am bound by ideology. And it delivered for me when it mattered most. This incident has added many new layers of perspective, most importantly the ones we usually miss in the melee of day-to-day social media discourse. I’ll write about the specifics of this case another day. For now, I just want to say thank you so much to everyone who has been a well-wisher. I’m grateful. Thank you for monitoring the situation.

@DealsDhamaka When I moved to London in 2018, family of 4 could comfortably live through the month with £3300/m. In 2026 it stands at £4300. My electricity & gas bill hovered c.£75, now it’s £120. You have been there a few times not lived enough to be 💯 accurate. Leaving 🇮🇳is a legit solution

It’s funny how people say … ‘Leave India’ for better life … I have been several times to the US, UK and EU in last few months. The gas ⛽️ prices have increased by 60-80% … atleast we are shielded here by that. My point is leaving country is not the solution. Let’s fight for better betterment

Honestly, the latest speech has simply created a needless panic in the market. If any firm's CEO would have done such dumb moves, he would be fired by his board. But, here retail investors will pay the price. There was no need to make all these non-sense suggestions. - People who want to invest abroad will continue to invest abroad. They see value in it. Grand speeches do nothing. - People will in fact buy more gold now. - Yes, maybe they will carpool for a few days. As long as it helps them save their money. Then they will go back to prioritizing convenience. Government should have simply worked behind closed doors. Figured out ways to offer more incentives for FIIs, ways to bring more remittances etc. But, they chose to give a speech.

@BritIndianVoice Don’t label one of incidents as Hinduphobia. Don’t make an issue out of a non-issue. Let’s continue to focus on the things you listed and we’re good.

British Indians Voice 🇮🇳🇬🇧
A question for a Sunday. Britain has 2.1 million British Indians. We contribute 6% of GDP. We staff 1 in 6 NHS positions. We have the highest household wealth. We have the lowest crime rate. We have the highest employment. And yet — We have no formal protection against Hinduphobia. We receive £5m security funding shared with ALL other faiths. We are told to go home by anonymous accounts daily. At what point does Britain’s most successful minority community get treated like one? 🤔🇮🇳🇬🇧 #BritishIndians

A devastating night in Birmingham and across the country. Good public servants, colleagues and friends have lost their seats. This was a verdict on us not them. The PM has rightly said we must do better. It is a privilege to serve the British people and we must live up to it.

What does your mum tell you? Don’t walk home alone. Take a taxi. This 20 year old university student did exactly that. She left Chinawhite club in Manchester at 2am. She was on the phone with her mum when she left, got into a taxi and was expected home 20 mins later. Instead she arrived at 5.30am. Muhammad Nasir, 40, has been waiting in his taxi outside the club. He had logged off from his taxi system so was not allowed to pick up passengers. He saw this young woman as prey and pretended to still be on duty. Instead of driving her home he went the opposite way to Chorlton where he raped her. Yesterday, Nasir, a father of three was found guilty by the court and sentenced to 12 years in prison and 4 years under licence in the community. So many of the taxi drivers in Manchester are Pakistani. They harass young women on a daily basis and have done for a long time. How many more women will be raped or assaulted before something is done?

Let me just say one thing here - I care more about India’s progress than ENTIRE BJP combined. One day you will realize this and regret supporting the wrong side. And, just to remind you, if I really cared about money, I would have joined BJP and ironically people like you would be licking my boots if that had happened.

Trust left to outrage over why the govt is sending emergency alerts to their phones without their consent. Some even claim their phones have been hacked. Others might say their elderly family members suffered panic attacks due to the sudden, alarming alert sound.

Himachal govt installs a charging point in Manali for tourists to charge phones and gadgets, and within hours people turn it into a dustbin. No Swachh Bharat or any scheme can fix this nation, only an iron fist policy can bring change.
