All my Codex sessions are stuck like this - nothing’s moving. You? New messages are just sitting there too, not posting. I’d normally force-close and reopen the app, but I’ve got so many sessions running that I’m hesitant. Worried it’ll break everything.

ChatGPT Images 2.0 is helping people and businesses unlock new ways to create and build. Compared to just a few weeks ago, we’ve seen a more than 50% increase in image usage. Nearly 60% of daily users are newly logged-in users. Like our users, we just keep building, and we’re continuing to ship new features — including the new 360° viewer available on desktop now and mobile next week.

bullish on the PM role quietly becoming the most important role in tech again when anyone can build, the person who decides WHAT to build becomes the bottleneck

/goal also lands in Codex CLI 0.128.0. Our take on the Ralph loop: keep a goal alive across turns. Don't stop until it's achieved. Built by my co-worker and OpenAI mentor Eric Traut, aka the Pyright guy. One of the GOATs I get to work with daily.

You became a founder. You quit the 9-to-5. You raised a little money. Everyone called you "brave" over drinks. You spent your nights building and your days pitching "the future," convinced that the next launch would change your life forever. Then a year passes. Flatline traction. $0 salary. Your co-founder quit via Slack. Your girlfriend left for someone with a 401k and a "stable" future. Your friends are posting house keys while you’re staring at a bowl of ramen, rehearsing the same tired lies to your parents about why the "big break" is just around the corner. Is this the end? You start wondering if you made a mistake. No. You keep telling yourself every founders went through this at some points. But you don’t stop. Logic says quit. Your ego says run. But there’s a sickness in you that won't let go. You’d rather fail at this than succeed at anything else. You tell yourself it’s just one more launch, one more pivot, one more "yes." You’re not delusional; you’re committed. You’ll miss this. Not the stress, but the electricity. The raw doubt that forced you to grow. The quiet fire of building while the world slept. The pure, unrefined dopamine of that very first user. These aren't just "hard years", they are the years that forge you. One day, when the bank account is full but the mystery is gone, you’ll find yourself wishing you could feel this hungry again. They all do.

Today we’re introducing a new Legal Agent in @Microsoft Word, built to support the precision and rigor legal work demands. Every clause matters. Every redline tells a story. That’s why this agent was built to follow the structured workflows lawyers use while keeping them fully in control. Early in my career, I asked for a computer on my desk because I believed technology could change how lawyers work. It did. Today, I believe this next generation of tools will do the same, grounded in trust and responsible use.
