BREAKING: We have credible reports that the APC government is plotting to arrest Peter Obi because they failed to stop him from contesting the 2027 Presidential election. Let them hear this loud and clear: Peter Obi remains the only joy giver left for suffering Nigerians at this critical moment. Any attempt to arrest him will trigger massive unrest that the APC will deeply regret. Abuja will become unbearable for Bola Tinubu and his corrupt officials who are busy planning setting Nigeria on fire. An illegitimate government that cannot provide good governance has now resorted to illegal political persecution. Since shutting down the nation is their specialty, we are more than ready to give it to them louder and stronger. The more they oppress, the more united and resolute we become. Peter Obi is the hope they cannot kill.

@HonestNarrativ People like you are the real Obi's enemies, when you push him to a point of no return everywhere will become quiet and life goes on as if nothing has happened. Nnamdi Kanu and El-Rufai in my mind.

Listen to it yourself 🙆🏽‍♀️ Oloriburuku masanfani ni awon Obidients members yi o. All of them “As at this point, it is better the kids had died, because they will grow up to be like terrorists.” Imagine saying this about kidnapped children. Children who were victims suddenly become the villains in her mind simply because of politics or prejudice? If her child was among those abducted, would you still type those words so casually? A society loses something important when empathy becomes a casualty of partisanship. But celebrating the death of innocent children or wishing it upon them is a line that should never be crossed.

@mc_lively_ Leaders are quite different from one another, a good leader is the one that defies all odd to take decisions that are good for his people. Remember Tinubu is on his first term and didn't pretend in order to get reelected.

We say that this removal of subsidy, the manner the government has gone about it, is wrong. ADC will not do it the same way. We (ADC) will revisit the issue of subsidy. Our immediate concern is how do we ease the burden on the people. - Bolaji Abdullahi, ADC spokesperson, speaking on subsidy removal and alleviating the people's suffering. #PoliticsToday

THE GOVERNMENT IS GOING AFTER MY BUSINESSES - MR. PETER OBI Contrary to the positions of many progressives, I may actually understand Mr. Peter Obi's position and, as unlikely as it may sound - I believe him. There is a rhythm to his panic, and perhaps, a reason. You see, In the past 3 years, the Asiwaju Administration has been a consuming fire to the machinations of the evil manufacturers of fake drugs and their syndicates. It has been an unyielding hammer smashing the vials of slow poison. And much harder than that, those who peddle hard drugs, along with their powerful Barons, have found the soil of this country suddenly too hot for comfort. Under this government, the comfortable nests of these merchants of death have been set ablaze. And since Peter is unable to state in very lucid and specific terms how the government is attacking his businesses; How many Next Supermarkets have been sealed or demolished by the State? How many of his shipping containers have been deliberately frustrated by Customs purely because the manifest bore the name "Peter"? How many of his blue-chip shares, domiciled across various financial institutions, have been hijacked by the invisible hands of government agents? Has his daughter, who he proudly claims teaches in Lagos, been sacked out of sheer mischief, political vendetta, and hate? The absolute absence of specifics leaves us with gaping voids - voids we are now forced to fill. If Peter loudly insists his businesses are under siege, thereby threatening his very life, and we know for a fact that not a single one of his legally registered, legitimate commercial interests has been touched, where does that leave us? It becomes safe, decent, and mathematically logical to assume that the "businesses" Peter speaks of are those operating in the dark alleys of the underworld, bearing shady markings. If that is the case, we offer no apologies. Evil must be stamped out of our society with an iron boot, no matter whose ox is gored. Good Afternoon Severally...

A Wife’s Tears, A Nation’s Conscience: Let Justice Have a Heart. I woke this morning in America and was deeply moved by an emotional viral video of Hajiya Asiya El-Rufai, prompting deep reflection on our nation’s future. Regardless of the allegations against Mallam Nasir El-Rufai or any other citizen, justice must be transparent and fair, with reasonable bail conditions that should not be seen as punitive before trial. In a democracy governed by the rule of law, institutions exist to protect every citizen's rights, regardless of their background. We must resist any hint of selective justice that erodes public trust and threatens national unity. Those tasked with enforcing our laws must act professionally and strictly follow due process. Let us strive for a Nigeria where the law is paramount, and where every citizen is guaranteed dignity and justice. This is the foundation of the New Nigeria we envisage. -PO

Obi made the remarks during an interview on With Chude, which media personality Chude Jideonwo posted on X on Wednesday. Responding to a question on whether there was a possibility he might not be a candidate in 2027, Obi said, (“Not even a candidate. I might not even be alive. I’m telling you. “Every single thing I do for a living, this government is frustrating it. Deliberately so. Everything. So, there is even a possibility, if they have the opportunity, I will not be alive. “It’s not an accusation. I know. I get frustration every day. Because you do things that you think would be normal—it is not normal anymore. “They won’t come directly and say, ‘Oh, we’re doing this,’ but you can see their hand in virtually everything. “They are attacking everybody who is in opposition personally. I am being attacked personally. Everything. Even to provide me with necessary things that I should have been entitled to, not at all. “I had a case recently at the airport, where people who work in the airport came and locked my car. And I said, ‘It’s me.’ The person in charge said he doesn’t care. “But I said, ‘Look at the cars of other people.’ And you could see them talking to each other, as if, ‘Who is this one? “And I see people I know at the airport, they will not greet me because they are fearing that if they greet me. “And I have people send me invitations and say, ‘My son, my daughter is wedding, but please don’t come."

DEAR OPPOSITION — UNIFY UNDER PETER OBI This is for the Labour Party stalwart. The PDP loyalist who has not crossed over. The NNPP supporter. The ADC newcomer. The independent who cannot find a home. I am not here to tell you your party failed. I am here to tell you the arithmetic. Tinubu was declared winner 2023 with 36 percent of the vote. The opposition together took the rest. The math has never been the problem. The math has always favoured us. The problem is that we ran three campaigns where we needed to run one — and the man who was said to came first in that split is the man currently mortgaging your children's future. 2027 will not be won by the party with the loudest supporters. It will be won by the side that learns to assemble itself. Peter Obi is not the candidate of one camp. He is the candidate with the strongest record on the ballot, the broadest appeal across the regions, and the only campaign in 2023 that took Lagos from the man who claims to own it. Unifying under him is not surrender. It is strategy. And unifying does not mean dissolving your party, your platform, or your principles. Your senator can still be your senator. Your governor can still be your governor. What we are asking is one shared answer at the top of the ballot — and a shared commitment to govern together when we win. If you are a party operative, an organiser, a fundraiser, a strategist sitting inside one of the opposition parties — we have a coordination channel for you. Not to replace what you are doing. To connect it. The other side is unified. They are unified by stolen public money, but they are unified. We have to be unified by something stronger. Visit operationdann.ng. Bring your party. Bring your network. Let us assemble. Arise, O Compatriots.

While social media spent days arguing over "akara and kulikuli," another story barely got attention: 45 Nigerian undergraduates( 300 level students and above) received ₦50 million each in equity-free funding to build scalable innovations that solve real problems. Beyond the grants, they also get mentorship, incubation support, and access to Google's AI tools through a Federal Government initiative. It didn't trend. It didn't fit the preferred narrative. Many people commenting on recent controversies never even watched the full video they were reacting to. Yet a life-changing opportunity for young Nigerians passed almost unnoticed. The lesson is simple: a society cannot thrive if everyone is only interested in consuming outrage while ignoring solutions and opportunities. Those 45 beneficiaries are Nigerians too. They are not being celebrated because they are politicians or influencers, but because they created value. An environment from which you only want to take, without contributing solutions, owes you nothing. *20 Key Youth Programs By Federal Government that Youths Should Know About And Take Advantage* - *1.
