There have been points made in the media that the junior doctors are losing support from the consultant body in the NHS Nothing could be further from the truth . I do not know a single consultant that does not support the junior doctors. I love my profession and have worked in the NHS all my life, having never seen a single private patient (although hundreds have asked), the only way to ensure that the NHS survives is to treat junior doctors fairly. Without them there will not be an NHS. Nearly every doctor in the uk feels passionately about this.
