@onwearinzepius Exactly! 😌 A book can be 1000 pages, but if it’s dragging or full of fluff, it won’t stick. Quality always beats quantity, and content matters more than size.
English

@anna_writes0 Longer, but size is not more important than the content.
English

@king_reinhardt Absolutely! 😅 I’ve noticed the same, shorter books just feel cleaner and more enjoyable. The long ones could usually lose a few chapters and still be great.
English

@anna_writes0 Short books! In my personal experience, the long ones could be cut down easily into something better
English

@heyyjessyy Haha, right? 😅 Most romance stories don’t need 400 pages, keep it tight and engaging!
English

@anna_writes0 Long as long as it’s not romance. No romance book has any business being longer than 400 pages max
English

@Mark_Golomb I ger that
Short chapters make it easier to keep going without feeling overwhelmed.
English

@anna_writes0 Long books with short chapters (2-3 pages) so I can get to a stopping point quickly
English

@plongrass @sanchez_m_m I feel you 😅
Some days posts just vanish, but the one you almost don’t share might be the one that blows up.
English

@sanchez_m_m Yeah, sometimes X just has you in a chokehold for no reason, and your posts seem to disappear into the ether.
When I sense that happening, I barely bother to post 😢

Avocado is one of my best fruits.
Ara🤍@Araoluwanimi01
Be honest here… does anyone actually enjoy eating avocado?
English

@KyleLeeWriter That’s true.
Being able to say a lot with fewer words is a real skill.
It makes the reading experience even better.
English

@anna_writes0 I always appreciate authors who are able to tell their stories with efficiency.
English

@shawnWWrites That’s true.
Quality always matters more than length.
A well-written book will always stand out.
English

@anna_writes0 I prefer well written books. It matters not if said books are 200 pages or 1000.
English

@AnIsekaiGuy That’s interesting.
There’s something different about being fully immersed in a story for that long.
Those kinds of endings really stay with you.
English

@anna_writes0 I have always had a very strong preference for extremely long narratives. I don't merely crave long books, I crave sagas with double digit volume counts. A happy ending after 75000 words make me smile for 5 minutes. A transcendent ending after millions of words hits differently.
English

@readit_club As long as it’s a good book, it will always find its reader.
That’s what makes writing worth it.
English

@anna_writes0 We love short books, long books, Spanish books, yellow-covered books, we love hot books, cold books, we love well-loved books, we even love… dusty books…
English

It really doesn’t work like that.
There’s a lot more that goes into it, research, clarity, covers, and positioning.
It looks simple on the surface, but the real work is in getting people to actually read and buy.
BIG JOSH@thebigjosh_x
Scrolling through TL, and saw a post on how to start KDP. The guy was like, go to ChatGPT , ask for titles, generate table of contents, use it to generate content, paste in Microsoft Word and format. Then publish and start making sales. People are funny shaa, you think that’s how it works 😂. Until you publish 20 books and don’t even get a KENP read.
