@templetonf I'm so incredibly sad to hear this news. Fleur was a loved & admired member of our science communication community. She was so good at her job and she cared so much. She made a difference in the world and I hope that is some comfort to her family. My thoughts are with you.

@FrancesCook My midwife told me that every parent loves some ages and hates some stages. You just don't know which is gonna be which until you get there, and it's different for everyone. I *loved* the baby stage but found toddlers super hard, then age 4-5 was wonderful again, etc and repeat!

When you have a baby and it’s hard, everyone likes to ‘just you wait’ about toddlers. But toddlers are the absolute coolest??? They are so funny? They do weird stuff, but there’s an actual logic to it? They can tell you about their day? They make little friends and it’s SO cute??

Update: 4th chemo treatment cycle yesterday so wearing gloves and masks today due to fizzing fingers and extremities and lying low 🫖🍲 Unfortunately my head nurse for the week has brought home a lurgy, man-flu 🤞🙏so I am the nurse now 🙄😷
