@MegynKellyShow @LawyerYouKnow Megyn, even the jurors think Karen hit him!

Karen Read very likely called Jackson & Yannetti, as well as her father, when the State Troopers arrived to execute the search warrant. If so, why is Jackson speaking to the State Troopers over Mr. Read's cellphone? Because to reset the phones, she would have had to first end the calls to Jackson, Yannetti, and father and no way to call them back. Why would Jackson & Yannetti be speaking to the police through Mr. Read's phone - rather than to Karen directly - if they were not aware that she was resetting the phone? Why was the phone or phones upstairs? Was it because she wanted to reset the phones in an area of the home where the State Troopers would be unable to see what she was doing? After all, if the State Troopers saw her fiddling with the phone - the very item the search warrant authorized them to seize - they would have immediately and forcibly entered the home. If Karen reset the phones, that constitutes consciousness of guilt and, arguably, obstruction of justice. Most lawyers would not advise a client refuse to allow law enforcement to enter the home to execute a search warrant. No ethical lawyer would advise a client to reset a phone.
