If this was a real assassination attempt. Secret Service would have rushed him off the stage. They let him stand there out in the open, raise his fist in the air and say the word “Fight!” three times. I knew the moment it happened that it was staged.

Daily, MAGA Republicans call me / accuse me of - Being Unpatriotic or not a “Real American”, Libtard, Woke, Communist, Traitor, And a Coward because I don’t Support Trump or his war on Iran. I served 2 combat tours in Iraq as a 19 Delta. I’m decorated and combat wounded. The Iraq war was started by another Republican President under bullshit claims of “Weapons of Mass Destruction”. The Iraq War wasn’t about stopping a dictator who had “Weapons of Mass Destruction”… It was about controlling Oil. No different from this bullshit war. Yet MAGA Republicans, want this war with Iran. They claim to be “Patriots” and “True Americans”. But yet, the majority have never served or seen combat. And ironically enough, MAGA Republicans will go after actual combat veterans. A message to all those MAGA Republicans. Join the Military. Goto war under a Combat Arms MOS. Experience what war is all about. Until then…. Shut the fuck up. You haven’t earned the right to criticize me, Or any other combat veteran who doesn’t agree with the Trump or MAGA agenda.

A 27 year old kid dedicated his life to representing his country at the Olympics. He said he loved America but had mixed feelings about some of what's happening at home. Of course he does. Anyone with a heart would. A person without a heart is the person who does not. For that, the President of the United States called him a loser, and his family received threats. His response was to qualify for the final, flash the L at the camera, and say he stands by every word. That is what representing your country actually looks like. Not blind obedience. Not silence. Showing up, competing your heart out, and refusing to pretend that loving your country means you can never question it. The only loser in this story is the man who attacked an athlete from his couch while that athlete was training for the Olympics.

Horrified to see this image, of our @ImmDef client Andry, being brutalized and terrorized at the CECOT in El Salvador by men with chains & masks & AK47s. The @TIME photographer described him being slapped as he pleaded with them. We now know it was Andry crying out for his mom.
