A public inquiry into the Southport attack that killed three young girls at a Taylor Swift themed dance class has found it could have been prevented if the killer's parents had told authorities the full truth about their son's behaviour. The inquiry chair also highlighted a number of failings by agencies, including multiple police forces and NHS mental health services, who repeatedly passed the risk to others.

@GMB Not excusing anyone here, but have worked with parents who have been begging authorities for help with violent children for years to no effect. The services actually in schools were drastically cut in 2010/11 and have not recovered.
