Yesterday, a suitcase containing the body of a woman in her 50s was discovered under a bridge in Daegu. The person who killed her was her son-in-law. He beat her to death with his feet and fists, then stuffed her body into a suitcase. Her son-in-law, along with his wife (the deceased woman’s daughter), then dumped the suitcase containing the body under the bridge. (In other words, the son-in-law killed her, but the daughter also participated in disposing of the body.) The deceased woman’s body had fractures in multiple areas, including her ribs and pelvis. Bruises were also found on her daughter’s body, indicating signs of assault. Police stated, “It appears the son-in-law committed domestic violence against both her and her daughter.” According to one media outlet, all three individuals are registered as intellectually disabled, and among them, her son-in-law suffers from anger management issues.
