The reason is becuase 95% of undertale fanbase are ppl who watched it on youtube. Essentially responsible for the culture of tourists who don't play games and watch it on youtube then pretend to be expert at it.

I’d be mad that Tokon Deadpool is very reference heavy, but it’s clear that they’re using that as an outlet to be a love letter to fighting games + it allows his move set to be very fun and creative, so I don’t mind.

@tarrasq__e Iirc all arc sys high low unblockables are technically just "hardtoblockables" cuz I have like a 1 frame window or something to switch from crouching to standing or vice versa, don't remember which way you have to block first

This is definitely the kind of thing Strive players would clamor to be fixed but I love shit like this in fighting games. This one character can ignore a mechanic everyone else has to work around is the kind of shit that gives fighting games so much personality.
