@WallStreetMav Christians have been fighting Muslims since before Christ was born. The leftists, who know nothing about history, have foolishly invited them in. They're truly morons.🤡⚔️

Europeans don't have children because it is too expensive with their tax system. Muslims migrants have many children in Europe because Europeans support them, giving welfare benefits that are vastly more generous compared to working in their home country.

America’s “Favor” That Powers Its Empire U.S. troops in Germany are not there out of charity—and certainly not to “protect” Germans. They are there because without German soil, American global reach doesn’t function. Ramstein is the largest U.S. air base outside America. Stuttgart hosts EUCOM and AFRICOM—the command centers for operations across Europe and Africa. Landstuhl has been the lifeline for wounded U.S. soldiers from Iraq to Afghanistan. Even drone operations in places like Somalia rely on infrastructure routed through Germany. Remove that, and you don’t weaken Berlin—you blind Washington. Yet somehow the narrative persists: America is doing Germany a favour. That Europe is the dependent, the beneficiary, the so-called “freeloader.” It’s a convenient story. It’s also strategically backwards. Because the reality is simple: those bases are not acts of generosity. They are instruments of power. And they exist in Germany not for Germany’s benefit—but for America’s ability to operate far beyond its own borders. Take them away, and the question isn’t what Germany loses. It’s how much the United States does.

This is 100% wrong. Full stop. This deal actually had a pretty competitive process and got a ton of bids before it ever went to auction (I think it got hundreds of tours and maybe 60 bids). The auction only happened because Lone Star owned the note AFTER that process, and then ran a foreclosure process. Probably related to bond holder losses or something, so it wasn’t a typical deed in lieu. They came into that auction process with a big credit bid, which basically set the bar way higher than where most buyers had it underwritten. No one bid because it didn’t make sense at $216mm or whatever they set it at (they got it for $130mm), not because no one wanted it. It’s honestly a good asset. The suites are in solid shape, it’s generating income, and it’ll lease up over time. This kind of headline just ignores how these situations actually work.

A 20 story tower in San Francisco valued at $320 million dollars went up for auction There wasn’t a single bidder. Not even for $1 The property is now vacant, because no one wants to make the investment in Democrat run San Francisco High crime rates and homelessness are cited reasons for office buildings like this to not see purchasers Bidding for the property started at $80 million, but no offers. A massive decline in value WeWork used to be a major tenant occupying nearly 200,000 sq ft in this same building

White collar employment is sharply declining: The number of the S&P 500 employees fell -400,000 in 2025, to 28.1 million, posting its first annual decline since 2016. This follows 8 consecutive years of uninterrupted employment growth, adding over +3.0 million jobs in total. The decline was driven by UPS, $UPS, Oracle, $ORCL, Amazon, $AMZN, Meta, $META, Intel, $INTC, and Microsoft, $MSFT, as corporations raced to cut costs and redirect spending toward AI. In 2026, layoffs are set to continue with Amazon cutting ~16,000 corporate jobs, Meta slashing ~8,000 positions, and Microsoft offering voluntary buyouts to ~8,750 employees. Corporate America is cutting jobs at an accelerating pace.

The irony is that Google is dead in the water in agentic coding right now, not OpenAI. Can Gemini bounce back? We'll find out next month.
tae kim@firstadopter

This is a good amalgamation of the sentiment shift I see among developers online from "Anthropic is ruling everything" to "it's a 50/50 race with OpenAI" again. Despite the high views from media, Google Gemini is nowhere: "i went from 80/20 claude/gpt to 80/20 gpt/claude in <3 months. surprised by this tbh" "claude still mogs gpt for non-coding agent stuff. codex feels like an engineer (which is great for coding!)" "anthropic has got to figure out the compute thing. you can feel it as a user. vibes are all out of whack bc of it. my opinions above are all likely downstream of this. it’s an issue." OpenAI "gpt 5.5 is incredible. the level to which i trust it for engineering is amazing. if i could only have one model rn, it would be this one just bc of strong need for the coding use case." OpenAI "codex team is killing it. app has been the gold standard since 5.3 release (buuut i credit conductor team for the ui innovation that everyone is using now). though" "gemini…? seems like this is 2-3 models now where the model seems like a great release and then nobody ever uses it? i’m bullish google/deepmind but weird it hasn’t translated to product use in any form. kinda disappointed still" "no open source models have hit the opus 4.5 level. was hopeful the new deepseek would get there, but nope"

Elon Musk did it. Media called it a Nazi salute and lost their minds. Democrat Senate candidate Graham Platner did the exact same thing today. No media coverage. Total silence. Because the legacy media is just a tool for the far left to spread lies and propaganda.
