@anotherDownlodr I agree. The muted colors aren’t the issue I have. It’s the soft lighting and muted blacks that make the show look bland compared to Lucas’ films.

In real life, Ford told him to find out why the horizon should be at the top or bottom and not in the middle. And why he should appreciate it. In the movie Spielberg give his answer almost 60 years later. "Because it's interesting"

Eventhough I didn't like Disclosure Day that much it did get me into a Spielberg mood. One of my favorite details from The Fabelmans that I found was that there was a difference between how Spielberg tells the John Ford story and how he depicts it in the movie.
