De acuerdo con la información, la orden la dio sido Rosario Murillo. Testigos señalan que el ambiente durante el operativo fue tenso y que Ramos quedó muy asustada. Las mismas fuentes aseguran que Murillo estaría presionando para que se abran investigaciones, se confisquen bienes y se obligue a Ramos a renunciar como magistrada. Afirman además que los bienes de Ramos fueron inmovilizados desde noviembre pasado por la Procuraduría, por instrucciones de Murillo a Wendy Morales. El entorno de Ramos teme que su situación derive en un desenlace similar al de Álvaro Baltodano y Bayardo Arce. Posteriormente, se habría realizado una reunión interna encabezada por el jefe de seguridad de la CSJ, Enrique Soto, y el secretario general del tribunal, con los exescoltas de Ramos. En ese encuentro se les habría comunicado que la magistrada quedaba “fuera por orientaciones superiores” y que estaba prohibido cualquier contacto con ella o con sus familiares.
