Today @CounterStrike : Global Offensive turns 13🎉
To celebrate, I’ve ported the legendary Training Course map, released with the game in 2012 as the original tutorial.
Play it now in #CS2. Just subscribe on the Workshop👇

I finally ported my #SquidGame map from CS:GO to @CounterStrike
Some mini-games had to be redesigned and adapted to fit the game engine capabilities💩
If anyone is interested in playing it, here is the link to the map on the Steam Workshop:

If you want to create scripts for @CS2 maps now, I've published a program on GitHub that enables you to do this. An example addon is also available.
Currently, there's not much you can do with scripts, but this could be a good start.

@ansimist Wait, so could you create a script that adapts to your local timezone and changes the in-game lighting in real-time? And on top of that, for example in deathmatch, designate 6 PM as 'happy hour' so that people can only use AK, M4, and AWP in DM from then on?
I came up with an idea of how to use the current date and time to change objects in a map for #CS2 using a simple script.
This script can display real-time with analog hands or digital clocks, and also control doors that open only at certain hours.
Getting the date will allow maps to automatically launch various easter eggs and events depending on the time, such as Halloween, New Year, Easter, Birthdays, etc.

The script also considers the day of the week to enable day-specific weapons.
Additionally, the map dynamically changes the sun's position: entering the map aligns the sun and sky with your local time.
I proudly present to you an early beta version of a unique ROGUE-LITE mode for CS:GO, which may not make it to @CounterStrike Source 2😨
Progression, unique enemies, abilities and much much more!😱

@ZooL_Smith@CounterStrike It's difficult to answer this question without official tools. As far as I understand, hitboxes are inherited from the model with animations. Most likely, using game tools, we will be able to create our own hitboxes
Here's what I found out about hitboxes in the new @CounterStrike
Now, all player models have the same hitboxes size. When comparing the head hitboxes from CS2 to CSGO, they've increased by 4-20% depending on the agent skin.
Now all hitboxes have a capsule shape. Previously, hitboxes for feet and hands were boxes.
