@CaryKelly11 I'd blame the people printing heaps of US$ because the government won't tax enough for what it spends. US will be even more screwed if countries started using a different default currency to transact in.

Average price of ground beef: 2000: $2.01 2026: $6.74 245% increase Pound of Bananas: 2000: $.50 2026: $.65 30% increase How are bananas that travel 3000 miles to my doorstep inflation proof compared to ground beef when it only travels a few hundred miles?

@Goalkickingguru @logue_phil So how's voting for the LNP helping ya? What have they done for farmers over the last 50 years? Other than dishing out the odd welfare bribe to buy votes near election time?

@JessePeltan In Australia, there are Chinese brands that are half this price again. But USA has a protection racket running for Tesla. A Tesla is a better unit, but at 2x the price of an EV that is almost as good...

I don’t think people realize how affordable Teslas have gotten. A new Model Y is $530/month. (72 months)

@JessePeltan @elonmusk Remember when oil megacorps price gouged people to wishing they had a Tesla? The problem is that people who cant afford $5 gas cant afford an $1000+ a month payment for 84 months🤷‍♂️

Denying the Holocausts true impact is a disgusting conspiracy theory - millions of Jews died in the holocaust and the statistics are provided by the US , the UK and other allies who found the evidence in the Nazis own files as part of the Nuremberg trials post WW2 - denying true impact of the holocaust is just horrific and starts to legitimise far right organisations - and I’m also horrified about the potential genocide in Gaza but there is no equivalence

@growler110 @Antunes1 Nothing you just said is true lol. There was no evidence of the Holocaust in German records. Its absence is so noteworthy that the Allies coped by saying they were using codewords and destroyed the evidence. All of the "evidence" is testimonial.

I just got a fine in the post because my teenage daughter had the seatbelt under her arm. $2115 It's not a fine that she wasn't wearing her seatbelt, it's that she didn't wear it right. Just a camera sitting there to watch our every move and raise revenue for the government. It was probably during the time we were singing John Farnhams "2 strong hearts". We love that song, we sing it loud and proud, until the part about the river to the wet large section of water that connects continents. We would never sing that part government, because that's banned too. $2115 for this. Honestl7 #AustralianOil #auspol

@TraderCobb While she should be wearing a seatbelt properly $2 grand is insane. At first I thought I misread that, thought it was $211.

@j_mcneill @JamesHu27192912 He's just an investor, along with lots of other investors. They are probably doing this because dairy farming is pretty cruel when you think about it. Keep impregnating an animal so that it keeps producing milk. Take it's babies away to be slaughtered and they don't drink milk.

@taipan168 The interesting anomaly is the Woolworths near Perth Airport, open from 6am til 10pm on Sundays. Why? Because it’s on federal land and not subject to archaic WA State Government protectionist policies Ludicrous
