How did I know this was going to be "account based in Poland" before even clicking

@IAPonomarenko With Ukrainians, it's not a zero chance of happening. Ultimately you really like your genocidal national heroes :D

Polski

@UkrReview Why? Now that EU "commented" on Ukrainian approach to genocidal figures, we should be pragmatic? Ukraine have a tendency to stir and stir and then apologise. I think Poland will finally start living by proverb "fool me once shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me". And good.

🇵🇱🇺🇦 Poland and Ukraine: Cooperation from Economy to Defense
Poland and Ukraine should avoid emotional decisions, resolve their issues pragmatically, and continue constructive cooperation.
After all, over many years, these two neighboring countries have proven that they are not only strategically vital partners to one another but are also ready to come to each other’s aid during their neighbor’s most difficult times.

@GoHomeRuzzky @604Maxximus @UkrReview Usually when people cannot handle being called for who they truly are, they resort to simple thing like blocking. No arguments - just "ruzzian propaganda". BTW. I guess it's pointless to expect Ukrainians to change - they always supported nazis and genocides.
English

@604Maxximus @antagonistfff @UkrReview dont waste energy on them. I blocked so many polish accounts during these 2 weeks, that I did not had so much ruzzian hate propaganda circulating on my X...
Its just pointless, they will never change. They always been like this.

🇵🇱🇺🇦 After Zelensky's announcement of the creation of the Ukrainian National Pantheon, the Polish government is increasingly convinced that Zelensky is escalating the conflict with Poland.
"It is a great pity that Zelensky did this. There was hope that we would improve our relations, but it looks like it will be even worse," one of the ministers told Onet.
Another anonymous interlocutor, who holds a high position in the government, said that Ukraine is harming itself by inciting a dispute with Poland.
On Constitution Day, Zelensky submitted to the Rada a draft law on the pantheon, which is designed to honor recognized Ukrainians.
He and Budanov emphasized that no one will tell Ukrainians who to call their heroes anymore.

English

@604Maxximus @UkrReview Sure, they are already at my doorstep... "Could-Should". Why should we forget, or be "good boys" - UKR does not give a shit, so why should we? So it benefits them? No. I am fine with ruskies smiling, as long as Ukrainias do not mock me and laugh at me.
English

@antagonistfff @UkrReview You truly are a fool. If UA fails, Russia then is on Poland's door step. RU Ahas already stated many times after UA, Poland is in its crossbar. Stop looking at the past and concentrate on the future or Poland feels the revenge of Russia. Wake up Poland. RU is laughing right now
English

@PolandMFA We don't HAVE TO anything. If Ukraine meets ALL the requirements including being ready to accept European values and recognizing genocide on Poles in Wolyn, then sure. Just like Turkey should recognize genocide of Armenians before EU can consider their entry to EU.
English

💬 My definition of a European country is a country whose majority territory is in Europe. Both Ukraine and the Western Balkans are unfinished business in uniting Europe whole and free. Poland, in particular, has always pursued a policy of wanting to have European, democratic, successful neighbors on both sides of our border.

@nexta_tv Oooooo, so Ukrainians are fine with naming units after genocidal figures, but are boycoting a cartoon.

Ukrainians have announced a boycott of Netflix: users are massively canceling subscriptions
The reason is that Netflix has acquired the rights to the 8 and 9 seasons of the animated series Masha and the Bear, and has extended its agreement covering previous seasons and spin-offs of the project.
The platform will broadcast it in more than 100 countries worldwide.
Ukraine’s Center for Countering Disinformation stated that the cartoon is an element of Russia’s “soft power” and forms a positive image of the country through its characters and symbolism.
They believe that such content influences children and promotes Russian narratives.
Netflix has not yet commented on the situation.

English

@UkrReview Clever move from Warsaw. Recognizing when to de-escalate rather than feed the grievance machine is what separates serious partners from the ones who weaponize history for domestic applause. The Kremlin cannot exploit what is not inflamed.
English

🇵🇱🇺🇦 Zelensky's decision not to attend the conference in Gdansk was supported by the Polish government
The Minister-Coordinator for Special Services of Poland called it one that "contributes to relieving tension" against the backdrop of the diplomatic dispute between the countries.
A month ago, the absence of the Ukrainian leader at the conference "would have been perceived negatively." But now "the situation is different."

English

@TallbarFIN No doubt about that - Finland, Sweden and Poland are not joking.
English

As I have some trust in British capabilities, I think that at first it would be Finland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Poland who would sink what's left of Baltic Sea Fleet and hit russian military installations in Kaliningrad and Karelia.
Then UK would join in.
WarMonitor🇺🇦🇬🇧@WarMonitor3
The British army is preparing to be able to strike Russia within minutes if they were to invade or attack NATOs eastern flank according to top defence officials. Wow...
English

@RabbitsShepherd @Tendar He did not achieve anything BUT conecssions towards UA. This should be a clear sign that actually force matters, not being "nice" and "diplomatic". I don't see UA being diplomatic - so there you go.
English

@antagonistfff @Tendar Compare Hungarian new prime minister Madjar with Orban. In short term Madjar has achieved much more concessions from Ukraine than Orban just because using right language, the one of diplomacy, not of threatening and ultimatums.
English

Ukrainian President issued an ultimatum to Belarus' Lukashenko, demanding that all signal towers must stop operating on behalf of Russian drone activities. The deadline will expire on June 25, 2026. If Lukashenko fails to comply then Ukraine might target those towers, and potentially even more.
Russia repeatedly used Belarus' mobile network to guide Russian drones along Ukraine's northern border. Russian war bloggers claimed last night that Belarus has started to block Russian signals, but there is no confirmation from Ukraine that this actually happened.

English

@UkrReview Good, there should be absolutely no preferential treatment. Plus all EU states should be in agreement that either UA or Moldova can join.
English

🇺🇦🇪🇺🇲🇩 Ukraine and Moldova's EU accession will no longer be synchronous, EC President says
Brussels is officially moving to an individual approach to candidate countries.
The President of the European Commission said that progress towards EU membership will depend solely on the real results of each state.

English

@RabbitsShepherd @Tendar Maybe PL should now be very strong and not allow any EU or NATO talks until UA plays like a partner, not like a "gib me, or sod off" type of relationship.
English

@RabbitsShepherd @Tendar Probably right! That would be the case for Poland as well - UA has "bullied" PL for quite some time with stupid politics, after UA decided they no longer need PL support. (1/2)
English

@JJehkinen @Tendar please use other arguments otherwise you could ask - "what's the alternative to attacking UA? They will soon get off out sphere of influence"
English

@antagonistfff @Tendar And what is the alternative?
Besides, they have warned Belarus and given them time to dismantle those equipment from towers.
English

@blyskavka_ua Hmmm... do they still need Poland? I guess they might be needing some additional money, since they want to have this conference. And Poles will pay. Like a good boys and girls. And later, after PL is no longer needed, UA will spit into their faces.
English

⚡️The President of Poland is trying to disrupt the Conference on the Reconstruction of Ukraine, which is scheduled for June 25-26 in Gdansk, — Zelenskyy.
According to the President, Nawrocki was outraged that he was allegedly not invited to this Conference, and Poland will be represented at it by Prime Minister Donald Tusk.
"This, in my opinion, is a political situation", — Zelenskyy says.
