@levelsio Not safe to allow Cloudflare's IP range, as other CF users may query your server, workers etc. (Happened to me few years ago).
No need. just fully isolate the server, and use the CF tunnel to transport the traffic

You should never ever expose a VPS to the entire internet
Always firewall it to subnets
If you host a website you should only allow port 443 (HTTPS) inbound from Cloudflare's IP range / subnets
Port 22 (SSH) only from your Tailscale subnet range
That means you create a "tunnel" from Cloudflare and Tailscale (your laptop) to your server's door
You still need your SSH key to open the door btw
If you don't, ANYONE in the entire world can connect to your VPS and if there's just one security vulnerability and you didn't upgrade your VPS you can get hacked
If you do have it firewalled with Tailscale subnet only, it means only if they hack your laptop they could get in via your Tailscale there
Another thing is ask OpenClaw or Claude Code to enable unattended upgrades with auto reboot

Best to block all ports, SSH is rarely the main risk. Block all ports using Hetzner's firewall or directly on the server (except temporary your IP on port 22 for ex)
Then, use a Cloudflare Tunnel to securely route traffic from your server to Cloudflare only
The real risk usually comes from reverse proxies or scripts listening on 0.0.0.0, not just SSH. Also, your server shouldn't be reachable on any open port, discoverable, or easily resolvable by scrapers trying to find the IP behind the Cloudflare proxy

An easy way to keep your VPS secure as many people in the replies said is @Tailscale
Tailscale is very hard to explain and I barely understand it but it creates a private network with just you (your laptop for ex) and your servers in the cloud
Nobody else can access that private network
Installing it is easy, smth like:
curl -fsSL tailscale.com/install.sh | sh
sudo tailscale up
But check the commands yourself always, then you click a link, login to Tailscale, add your server to your network, then after you type:
tailscale ip -4
And that gives your server a new IP via Tailscale, you SSH via that (I use @TermiusHQ) and then in your firewall (on Hetzner or Digital Ocean you can change the firewall in the dashboard easily) you set to only accept SSH connections (usually port 23) from the Tailscale network:
100.64.0.0/10
Now nobody can SSH into your server ever, only you inside your Tailscale network!
I learnt this with ChatGPT btw after seeing @DanielLockyer install it on my main server, but today I installed it on all my Hetzner VPS's for extra security!

And this is how to do it Start with a small VPS first, see how far you can take it Learn about security, and if you have an actual business, get a security/server guy to check your set up so it's safe for production But slowly learning and building it up to your own virtual server farm with multiple servers is the way to go! You'll be shocked running 25 servers at $5/mo = $125/mo!

I sold about $700 of one-time credits in 3 days after launching one-time payments on Photo AI (for subscribers though but in case your plan credits run out before your plan renews)
So I think that'll be about $7,000/mo extra revenue (if it doesn't cut in to plan upgrades that'd happen otherwise)

FTX Disputed claims seem tied to incorrect or missing balances. Many “disputed” users have already been invited to link their Kraken/BitGo as the "Allowed" claims
So I suspect FTX will soon add an “Accept the Objection” button so you can proceed or contest and finally access your funds

You should find the reason in the objection document related to your claim, which in most cases is:
"The Debtors have conducted a review of the filed proof of claim and any related accompanying materials and their books and records. Based on this review, the Debtor submits that the customer asserted cryptocurrency quantities and fiat which does not match the quantities and holdings in such customer’s accounts. Accordingly, the Debtors seek to modify the asserted claim to match their books and records."
