4A Player to Watch: Brody Seidl of McPherson earned 4A 1st Team All-State honors as a junior last spring and is a name to pay attention to this year. As a junior the 6’1 left handed batter hit .378 with a .514 OBP. He also had 47 attempts in center field with 0 errors on the year. Seidl was also a football All-State HM pick this fall as he played with a broken hand. When asked about the upcoming season Seidl said, “Super excited to get back to it this year. I think we all felt like we fell short and didn’t play to our best abilities. But I'm very hopeful this year to get back to the state tournament and get the job finished as we return basically our whole team from last year.” Seidl is committed to continue his baseball career next year at Cloud County. #sportsinkansas Photo: Melissa Strathman
