Another unfunded mandate from the @kslegislature. The party of small government sure does like micromanaging a lot of things. Let local school BOE and member schools of KSHSAA decide what’s best, not people who have no clue about education.

Good afternoon. Speaker Johnson was sent a bill to fund TSA, the Coast Guard and FEMA that passed the Senate 100-0. If he had simply called it for a vote it would passed easily. But he chose chaos. Because that’s what Trump wants. Only Johnson can clean up this mess.

The long lines at airports now falls squarely on Speaker Johnson's shoulders. The Senate unanimously passed a bill to fund TSA, FEMA, and the Coast Guard. But Speaker Johnson is refusing to let the House vote on it. If you miss your flight, remember, this shutdown is on him.

Placing restrictions on motivated kids and families is not the answer. Family rest, faith time, and personal schedules should be decided by families, not legislated by the state.
