Self delusion is one of the reasons liberals in India are losing. The idea that uneducated people vote BJP is one of the most false statements you can make BJP has won BLR South seat since 1991! BJP just got its first mayor in Kerala, in Trivandrum! The idea that BLR South is the least educated part of Karnataka ... or that Trivandrum is the least educated city in Kerala ... can any rational person believe this? Of course not. But Indian liberals keep feeding themselves obviously false statements just out of ego.
