What the Artemis II astronauts did over the last 10 days was a testament to their bravery. And the fact that they traveled farther from Earth than anyone ever has, re-entered our atmosphere at more than 24,000 mph, and splashed down safely was a testament to human ingenuity. Thanks to everyone at @NASA for making this mission possible, and for taking us along for the ride.

I looked up to Dr. Roberta Bondar, and got her autograph. Didn’t become an astronaut though. I looked up to Dr. Dana Scully. Couldn’t become an FBI agent sadly. I looked up to Michael Jordan. Didn’t make the NBA. I looked up to the Undertaker. Didn’t become an undead WWF Wrestler sadly. I looked up to Weird Al. Went to his show. High fived him. Didn’t become a parody singer. I loved the Dragonlance Series, written by Margret Weis and Tracy Hickman. Didn’t become a Red Wizard like Raistlin. I looked up Dr. Marie Curie. I became a goofy scientist with a black sash in Kung Fu that teaches science, is obsessed with space and makes cosplay costumes. You don’t know what will stick, and our role models shape us. Christina is a great one.

They are fighting with Christ. Because it was Jesus who said: ‘Whatever you did for the least of my brothers, you did for me.’ Rejecting the Pope for being merciful is not something a Christian does. The problem is not that Leo XIV has strayed from Christ. The problem is that some have strayed so far from the Gospel that they no longer recognize it when they see it.
