Mr. Nadda and the BJP have crossed all boundaries of decency and have in fact compelled us to point out the rank hypocrisy and cheap political tricks of the BJP throughout the last two days.
The shoddy arrangements and the Government’s conduct at Dr. Manmohan Singh ji’s cremation were deeply insulting and made it clear that the government was hell bent on diminishing his stature for their petty political reasons.
The attempts to cut corners were for all to see, and there were many instances where the family was insulted and the overall dignity and protocol befitting Dr. Singh’s stature was completely lacking.
This monumental insult to Dr. Manmohan Singh is unacceptable and India will never forgive the PM and his Government for playing politics over the last rites of Dr. Singh.

The state funeral of Dr. Manmohan Singh was a shocking display of disrespect and mismanagement -
▪️No news agencies except DD were allowed; DD focused on Modi & Shah, barely covering Dr. Manmohan Singh’s family.
▪️Only 3 chairs were kept in the front row for Dr. Singh's family. Congress leaders had to insist on seats for his daughters and other family members.
▪️PM & ministers did not stand up when the National Flag was handed to the widow of the late Prime Minister, or during the gun salute.
▪️The family was given inadequate space around the pyre due to soldiers occupying one side.
▪️Public was kept out, left watching from outside the venue.
▪️Amit Shah’s motorcade disrupted the funeral procession, leaving family cars outside. The gate was closed, and family members had to be located and brought back in.
▪️Dr Singh’s grandchildren performing last rites had to jostle for space to reach the pyre.
▪️Diplomats were seated elsewhere and were not visible. Shockingly, the PM did not stand when the King of Bhutan stood.
▪️The entire funeral area was cramped and poorly organized, leaving no space for many participants in the procession.
This disgraceful treatment of a towering statesman exposes the government’s priorities and lack of respect for democratic values. Dr. Singh deserved dignity, not this shameful spectacle.

I know Rahul, he would not push anyone much less a member of parliament. It’s simply not in his nature to be rude or nasty to anyone.

In his rant in the Lok Sabha yesterday, the PM attacked Nehru on the First Amendment to the Constitution of India - which was carried out with effect from June 18th, 1951.
This Amendment was carried out for 3 reasons. One, to deal with communal propaganda at a most sensitive time. Two, to protect zamindari abolition laws that were being struck down by the courts. Three, to protect reservations in education and employment for scheduled castes, scheduled tribes, and OBCs that had been rejected by the courts.
A Select Committee examined the Bill in detail. Nehru, Rajagopalchari, and Dr. Ambedkar were among members of this committee. Even after the Select Committee tabled its report, Nehru listened to his critics and modified his stance.
Earlier on July 3rd 1950, Sardar Patel had written to Nehru on the need for restrictions on freedom of speech, expressing his frustration with people like Syama Prasad Mookerjee. This letter reveals that Sardar Patel himself would have supported the First Amendment had he been alive.
Granville Austin's masterly Working a Democratic Constitution tells the full story of the amendments carried out till 1980. It is too much to expect of MAs in Entire Political Science or his cheerleaders to have read it.

When the owner of a small business, like Annapoorna restaurant in Coimbatore, asks our public servants for a simplified GST regime, his request is met with arrogance and outright disrespect.
Yet, when a billionaire friend seeks to bend the rules, change the laws, or acquire national assets, Modi Ji rolls out the red carpet.
Our small business owners have already endured the blows of demonetisation, an inaccessible banking system, tax extortion and a disastrous GST. The last thing they deserve is further humiliation.
But when the fragile egos of those in power are hurt, it seems humiliation is exactly what they’ll deliver.
MSMEs have been asking for relief for years. If this arrogant government would listen to the people they would understand that a simplified GST with a single tax rate would solve the problems of lakhs of businesses.

It is truly appalling to see the Environment Ministry seeking scientists to criticise the Kerala govt. at a time when the govt. should be focused on seeking to rehabilitate people, provide aid and strengthen the country’s disaster prevention technologies

Today, the Indian education system is in a deep crisis. It faces several problems, and this year's budget lacks proposals or vision to address these concerns. How can we expect to become a knowledgeable society if we do not provide adequate resources for education?
Efforts should be made to strengthen institutions like IITs and IIMs. However, the allocation for these premium institutions has been reduced.

Leader of Opposition Mr @RahulGandhi ji :
Winning and losing happen in life
I urge everyone to refrain from using derogatory language & being nasty towards Smt. Smriti Irani or any other leader for that matter
Humiliating & insulting people is a sign of weakness, not strength
