It's a reporter's duty to ask questions and in a visuals driven, hyper competitive news cycle, that pressure is real. But nothing justifies manhandling the press. No one has the right to push, assault or intimidate journalists and VJs for doing their job. #TVKVijay‌ @TVKVijayHQ

Few Journalists were allegedly roughed-up by the bouncers accompanying #TVK Vijay at #Trichy Airport on Friday. When journalists approached Vijay to ask questions, his bouncers blocked them, pushing the reporters to the ground. Following the commotion, police and CISF escorted him inside the airport. This is not the first such incident when journalists were attacked by Vijay's security. On April 2 also, during Vijay's nomination filing visit, bouncers secured the airport exit premises restricting Reporters for which they dont have power to do so, while it was removed later after confrontation
