I pay $200/month for Claude Max and hit the limit in under 1 hour. What am I even paying for?

Suddenly it hit me. What happened to DeepSeek? Sora? GitHub Copilot? Llama? Cursor? Perplexity? What happened?

@sflorimm True, I think people low-key forgot how to code within the last few years Not a bad thing though. Not everyone in 2020 knew how to code in Assembly language either

@crypto_banter I mean, that is great, but Anthropic is still a US company, so the government regulations would apply either way

Grok 4.5, based on our 1.5T V9 foundation model, with Cursor data added in supplemental training, is now in private beta at SpaceX & Tesla. Early evals show performance close to, perhaps exceeding Opus. RL is continuing to significantly improve the model, and the Grok Build harness gets better every day. Nice work by all those involved! Completely trained from scratch new models will be released by @SpaceX every month this year.

founders, quick question: if you raised a $500k pre-seed round, how much salary would you pay yourself from it? curious to hear what founders consider reasonable.

@wickedguro Do you want more publicity or more money? If it is purely about money, did you consider loans? Btw, the rejection reason sounds kind of absurd

as a female founder, these horror stories make raising money sound exactly like dating men in your 20s: 1. only entertain investors who are obsessed with you & your vision (not the other way around) 2. never chase or show desperation - it kills attraction 3. become undeniable and show up in the right rooms. quality VCs (and men) will approach 4. stay fun, high-value, a little mysterious. let them sell you on why they deserve a seat at your table now I’ll say what I always tell my single girlfriends: founders - you’re the prize. act like it. the right ones will chase. the rest? stay on read💅
GREG ISENBERG@gregisenberg

I was once pitching in a board room at a top 3 VC firm for a $15M Series A. 12 people in the meeting. One of the GPs fully fell asleep. Out cold for 30+ minutes. Nobody acknowledged it. Everyone just kept going. I kept presenting my Series A slides to an unconscious man in a Herman Miller chair and somehow that was considered normal. That's venture capital. You might fly across the country to perform for people who may or may not be conscious. It's a dance. And sometimes you lead and sometimes you follow and sometimes your partner is unconscious. If you're raising right now, just know: every founder has a story like this. The process is weird. The power dynamic is weird. You're not crazy for thinking it's weird. No one talks about it because they want to continue raising. But I'm happy to stick my neck out there. It is weird.
