@MacBotongore @omwambaKE Uon needed her money. These body always win my brother.
English

@antoninaluci @omwambaKE And therein lies my concern for Kambura, if she sat for exams for Diplama and LLB and passed, why punish her for lower grades? Put conversely why did the UoN admit her if her basic qualifications were inadmissible? Watu wapatane Kortini.

Prudence Kabura Ng'ang'a has been denied permanent entry to the Kenya School of Law,even after pursuing both a Diploma and an LL.B degree.
Prudence Kabura Ng'ang'a scored a C plain in her 2014 KCSE,but refused to let one exam define her future.
She therefore, went on to earn a Diploma in Law with a Distinction and later an LL.B from the University of Nairobi.
Despite this clear academic progression, the Kenya School of Law rejected her application to the Advocates Training Programme, solely because she did not meet the “C+” mean grade requirement from over a decade ago.
The High Court has now dismissed her case, ruling that the law remains strict on entry criteria. Under the Kenya School of Law Act, applicants must have a C+ mean grade and a B plain in English or Kiswahili, regardless of later academic success.

@Invest_Chris97 @ivymuthe 🤣🤐🤣. He does not have a sidechick
English

@MacBotongore @omwambaKE They have to work for two years(lower) before pursuing the masters degree.
English

@omwambaKE We have many with 2nd lower and pass degrees who have proceeded to acquire PhDs while others have performed exceptionally well in their professional areas. Access to opportunities can make a huge difference ! Justice for Kabura please.
English

@omwambaKE Until you work with someone who started law from diploma you'll never understand. These people are slow thinkers, they don't think outside the box, they believe in copying things,no reasoning, apo I support the Kenya school of law.
English

@omwambaKE That's why we have ended up with very qualified lawyers whose reasoning is below par.
A stolen A grade is worse than a genuine C plain.
Look at the mess we have found ourselves as a country because of lawyers.
Professors without basic morals.
Can defend anything for money.
English

@omwambaKE It is always advisable to meet the requirements of the body governing the course you want to take. A good example is someone does a diploma in Architecture and then runs to undertake Bachelor of Architectire in TUM. The AAK will not recognise the degree.

@amollo_chris @gabrieloguda No the problem from a teachers pov. It is how parents nowheredays bring up their children. What do you expect us teachers to do?
English

@otherafrikan @gabrieloguda This besides the point. Parents should raise their children well and not depend on us teachers totally to restore manners in them.
English

@gabrieloguda The problem in education is a systemic failure not just a learner problem. We need a comprehensive policy for holistic education in Kenya, where every learner enjoys the same standard of education irrespective of region, social status or gender.
English

@KazanaVOM @omondi_asher @Ka_rolin_a @gabrieloguda I dont know your age but these children have put us through hell in school.
English

@omondi_asher @Ka_rolin_a @gabrieloguda I am not the same. German parents are not like Swedish parents. Neither are Japanese parents same as Dutch. The fact is that child rights are human rights and they are inalienable. No need to beat, threaten and humiliate them. Schools must be child-friendly within the context.
