Here’s a quick recap of what I’ve been up to since I left: Three years ago I was consulting but ended up joining one of my clients, Summer Health, full-time. First as the founding designer, then Head of Design. I led design for two major projects, Care App and CareOS — antonsten.com/work/ I left Summer Health in December 2025 to return to consulting.

AI is great, but have you tried talking to a person that knows what they're doing?

@mattiaswikman @joshpuckett I think the left can be done in an hour, but if you’re a perfectionist, you’ll never finish it.

I see it as a time thing or portfolio cases thing. The left is done in an hour. The right takes effort. And the left is easier while the right can be tricky if you have only secret projects. For example we have Apple, Google, Polestar, McKinsey, MLS and about 10 more where we really can’t show a lot of the work. So the left solves that.

It’s taken 6 months, but the design prototyping environment I’ve been building for my team is really coming together. Just this week: - I used it to deliver a hifi prototype for a new feature beta - Two PMs used it to explore and share lofi concepts - Brand designers are using it for explorations and shipping tools to the extended marketing org to self-serve assets. - Another product designer is using it to create a design methods resource for the team The deployed version even has an official bookmark in our company Okta portal now. Anyway, consider it a vote of confidence to just build the thing you wish existed, even if that’s an internal tool no one directly asked for or approved 🫡

@antonsten Until Apple Calendar can do a full week view in portrait mode (you have to rotate to landscape), I stick with Google Calendar

Seems like in ios27, I can’t have the full dotted month view on top with today’s list below anymore… so what calendar app are people using?
