Super impressed by Hermes + qwen3.5 for local AI assistant. It performs way better than openclaw I feel no need to run a cloud model on main. If I need it, can have hermes call codex or Claude code. Good harness by @NousResearch

Finally got Apple Foundation model to use proper music facts. This in addition to music theory analysis and your local analytics gives the model all it needs to be useful while listening to music. “Play my favorite band” will pull your most played artist homecrate.app

Ideally this validates against a known list of tunings in the near future and experiment from that baseline but this is nice enough to have the connections

The spatial music app I’ve been working on comes w/ an Apple Intelligence powered tuner that can suggest/save alternate tunings for your guitars (steel guitar too!) Needs a bit of work on the suggestions, but def understands the assignment. Using audiokit Tonic for music theory.

One of the coolest features in my iOS app is the ability to record spatial songs and export them in the Apple APAC format for 3D playback. It sounds incredible!

Last year one of my favorite albums was removed in protest of streaming. Since then I built this music app with on-device playlist generation, trivia, analytics, algo tuning; without corporations pulling the strings. Apple Intelligence can do much of the same functions as streaming platforms, but privately offline. I found joy in owning and learning about my music again. It can auto-generate metadata as well as lyrics with timestamps! Lots of moments learning things about songs I've never noticed. The games are also super fun! Then I threw in a DAW because I think being able to appreciate and make music are complimentary. It's a very capable music creation tool with lyric input, and the ability to save to your library. Shipping soon, it is very done and getting addictive to use.

Procedural terrain is getting nicer. Have some frame dips to fix but webgpu mode is smoothing out. Flying is fun. Webgl mode rips.

FINALLY got VR avatars (VRM!) in @xrpublisher working down to fingers. Took well over a year with many rewrites. WebXR three.js and Vision Pro! Big accomplished feels tonight. 😴
