GLM 5.2 has been a dream. Running it locally for free and it doesn't actively sandbag you I'd walk opus through every step of protein behavior, give it explicit instructions to wire it into the engine and it would completely fail. GLM does it no problem, no sandbag.

Hour 1 of building a pipeline that turns public topographic data into 3D isometric game maps. Real-world elevation (Copernicus DEM) + OpenStreetMap → procedural terrain, coastline & city, baked low-poly in Blender, running real-time in the browser with Three.js. This is Monaco, 100% from open data, zero hand-modeled terrain. Goal: open-source it so any dev can generate a game map straight from a real city. Building a believable world is one of the biggest walls when you start making games, this tears it down.

I've been reading 4-5 hours a day for the past month, and I already feel much smarter and rational. My writing and thinking have improved a lot too. People I respect interact with my tweets, in a more meaningful way. I can't recommend enough to read daily and use AI to talk with dead people after giving it the right context. I aggregated a lot of lost wisdom in PDFs I made. I'm thinking of taking a few days to redesign my website to share those treasures with you so you can too learn from them. The biggest gap in local AI right now is a 80-160B model. People already have unified 128GB memory machines. The engines already run sparse MoE on that slow memory just fine. Qwen, Gemma, Nemotron please this is the one to ship next.

Reminds me of piratebox, essentially an offline internet captive portal. There's many discreet WiFi devices from smart bulbs to outlets you could hack into wireless dead drops. Works with WebXR for geocaching VR/AR too.

You can just do things: This guy turned a cheap smart light bulb into a secret banned book library. It creates its own open WiFi hotspot + web server full of EPUBs. "As long as the light bulb is switched on, then anyone in the vicinity can still access the banned material assuming they have an electronic device with WiFi. Since the device is a light bulb, it would be difficult to detect and likely to go unnoticed." Awesome!
